Description Artificial Intelligence Surgery is a gold open-access, peer-reviewed journal founded in 2021 by OAE Publishing Inc. and indexed by ESCI, Scopus, Dimensions, and Lens. Edited by Prof. Andrew Gumbs from Otto von Guericke University, Germany, AIS is the first surgical journal dedicated to exploring the intersection of AI and surgery. It covers topics such as smart surgical technologies, computer-assisted systems, surgical data science, and robotics, including tele-manipulation, robotic-assisted surgery, NOTES, and fully autonomous robots.
